60-second speaking practice
One prompt, one minute, and a chance to try again. Speak out loud when you’re ready.
- 1 Prepare
- 2 Speak
- 3 Reflect
A deadline moved. Explain what changed, the impact, and what you need from the team.
Need a structure?
Start with the main update. Give one reason or detail. End with what happens next.
How to use this tool
You do not need a perfect answer. Try one prompt, reflect on what you said, and repeat with a small change: lead with the point, use one example, or stop at a clear ending. The same prompt makes it easier to notice the difference. Later, use a different prompt to practice the habit again.
Does this tool record or score me?
No. It provides a prompt, a timer, and a reflection checklist. It does not access your microphone or evaluate your answer. The checklist is your own assessment of the attempt.
What happens after the preparation timer?
Preparation is optional. When enabled, you have 15 seconds to choose your main point before the speaking minute begins. You can start speaking immediately, pause, start over, or finish early.
What makes this a daily practice?
Today’s prompt selects a prompt for each situation using the date on your device. You can also choose another prompt at any time. The library contains 24 original prompts across four situations.
Do I have to use all 60 seconds?
No. A clear answer can be shorter. If you have finished your point, choose Finish early and reflect on it. The goal is an intentional answer, not filling every second.
